well according to newegg the non v2 version is clocked 10mhz higher on both memory and core....also the display outputs are different on each card....the non v2 version has 1 DVI 1 HDMI and 2 Mini Display Ports...the v2 version has 2 DVI 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport

There doesnt seem to be any other differences....the different outputs is def enough to warrant a second version. Its the same card with the same pcb layout

ok I had two things wrong there are a few other differences....the fan shroud is different...appears to just be an aesthetic thing....and the pcb layout is actually different...but it really wont have an effect on anything.
