So pumped. Ready to order my parts! I want to make sure all the components will work together, everything will fit, and all that good stuff. This is my first time doing a PC build and I was hoping to get some feedback on the build I came up with. I have been getting a lot of different suggestions on the parts I have chosen and I really want to assure that this PC will last and run very strong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am an avid Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 player and I would like these games to run at high fps, no problems. I run into a lot of fps lag currently because my computer, well, just plain sucks, so I am hoping to be able to be lag free. Also it would be awesome if I could run the games with maxed out graphics..easily of course. Thanks guys!

That's a great looking build. Main thing I'd point out is the PSU is overkill unless you're planning to add a second 7970 in there at some point.

Could nitpick at a few details, but that's all good stuff and all compatible.

I've never used Asrock myself, but they are generally considered to be a good brand. That motherboard in particular did well in a Z77 round up on Tomshardware you can read here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z77-express-ivy-bridge-benchmark,3254.html

If you're not comfortable with the brand, there are quite a few options included in the free RAM promotion, including some ASUS and Gigabyte models. Take a look at the full list here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%20600315497&IsNodeId=1&Description=ppssmbaatc10161022&name=Intel%20Z75%2fZ77

ASrock used to be a branch of ASUS but they have now left ASUS

I prefer ASrock over ASUS most of the time due to price and great products(all the motherboards i got from ASrock were a lot better than the ASUS products i have gotten)

other than that, if you want a more company that has been doing MOBOs for a long time, go Gigabyte.

also for the reviews don't read some of the old reviews most of the patches that ASrock and Gigabyte did fixed pretty much everything
