6300 fx vishera black edition

i have a 6300 fx vishera black edition cpu and i was wanting to overclock it slightly meaning 3.5 stock to maybe 3.8 and i was wondering if that would be harmful to my pc. i was also wondering what my max temp was on this thing i cant seem to find it anywhere i know most people say dont go over 60-70

overclocking is completely harmless if you use sensible multipliers and sensible over volts. Experiment with each increasing voltage step and record what temps are on idle and at load. GOOD LUCK.

Also, 300 Mhz isn't really that much of an increase so the stock cooler should be fine.

thanks so for the 300 mhz should i raise voltage as well and how do i know if its stable
