What games can I run?

Helllooo,

I am buying a pc soon and I was wondering exactly what games I can run maxed out.

My system:

GPU: HD Radeon 6950 1gb
CPU: AMD FX-6100 (stock)
RAM: 16gb ddr3
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Can I run BF3 on ultra 1080p fairly smoothly [40fps] and will I be able to max out DayZ (ArmA 2 engine) when it comes out in December?

Just to say, there are some things you could easily change to make the system better.

Drop 8GB of that RAM. Gaming only needs 8GB.
No need for Ultimate Windows, there is no benefit from it over Home Premium (unless you are going to have 16GB+ of system memory, and then you should get Professional).
Upgrade the 6950 to a 7950 with the reclaimed cash.

Post the rest of the build, might be other way to optimize performance.

And that CPU. Piledriver comes out next week on the 24th, so I'd wait and pick up the FX-6300.

I would also wait for piledriver to come out next week. More performance for less dough. For a vga card, I would go with a 7870 as it will run BF3 at 1080p very well. Manofchalk is right, you only need 8GB of memory and should go with Windows 7pro. What motherboard are you going to use? Is there a reason you are not going Intel? They have the best performance for the price right now.
