Hi, so I'm planning on building a new PC. I already have some parts. I only need a CPU, GPU, some RAM and a MOBO.
All of this should be around 300 or so. My absolute max is $370. Yes I know its pretty low...
I'm going to do the following on my PC:
1. Heavy gaming at 1440x900. Preferably max settings.
2. 100 tab browsing :D
3. Some light photo editing using Photoshop.
4. School assignments.(Shouldn't be a problem but still...)

Anyways thank guys.. :)

Take a look and see. It performs around 50 fps in Battlefield 3, and 50FPS in Crysis 2, probably the two most GPU intensive games there, although thats at 1280x800. I would say it would perform at around 45 fps at that resolution, and thats on BF3 with AA, which makes little difference to the look of the game, and has a massive performance hit. You could easily turn it off.

It really depends on what games you play, but for the most part, it will perform VERY well at that resolution. If you gave me another $25 to play with, I would suggest to you this, on the basis that you don't increase your monitor resolution. If you do ever increase it to 1080p, I would recommend the 2GB version of it.

I would only recommend the 7850 if you had the money to buy it, its performance is around 2x of a 7770.

I'll also be missing for the next 10 hours, so excuse me if I don't reply back :)

I was thinking about the HD 7850. I still have 15 days to decide whether I could add money or just go with an HD 7770/HD 6870. I would want to max out the games with AA but I could turn it down partially if there will be FPS gains.
Also comparing the price/performance of the 7770/7850, do you think it worth the extra price for the 2x performance?

Definitely, I could max most games on my old 7950GT at that resolution. The HD 7770 is a lot better. Even at 1080P you should be fine for 90% of games, you will only have to tone settings down on games like BF3 and Metro.

Dat motherboard o_O
Thanks man I appreciate it but I think and i5 is way out of my budget as in my country an i3 2120 retails for about the same the price as the i5 2320. I know that's insane.
The CPU (i3 2120) is ok for me but the GPU is really bugging me. :/
If any of you guys know an online shop that sells PC parts worldwide, just inform me. I tried ebay but damn...

@JJ1217 I'll try to browse Amazon and keep you posted. :)
@FinneousPJ Yep it went over. But i don't want a 6670. I got a few parts on ebay though. Here:
GPU:http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-460-OC-2-1-GB-GDDR5-SDRAM-PCI-Express-2-0-/290789949751?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item43b46e8137
CPU:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Sandy-Bridg-Core-i3-2120-3-3GHz-3MB-L3-LGA-1155-32nm-Dual-Core-65W-TDP-/261095017752?pt=CPUs&hash=item3cca79cd18
MOBO:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Board-ASRock-H61M-DGS-LGA1155-Intel-H61-A-V-GbE-Micro-ATX-Motherboard-/140860700357?pt=Motherboards&hash=item20cbf3b6c5

EDIT: Tried Amazon and well... no luck. :(
It gives me the following error: 'Intel Core i3-3220 Dual-Core Processor 3.3 Ghz 3 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80637i33220 cannot be shipped to the selected address. '
