I'm thinking of building a gaming budget build around £430. These are the specs that I've made up:

CPU: Intel Pentium G850 Dual-Core 2.9Ghz
GPU: Asus AMD Radeon HD7770
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 4GB x2
Motherboard: Gigabyte H61MA-D3V
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
PSU: OCZ CoreXStream 500W
Case: Fractal Design Core 1000
DVD Reader/Writer
OS: W7 Homew Premium

Could you please review the specs and tell me where I need to change or improve?

Thanks! :)

Well the build you made is pretty decent but there are lots of things you can improve without significantly increasing the price.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Pentium G860 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor (£52.36 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: MSI H61M-P25 (B3) Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard (£32.28 @
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£29.76 @
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£49.98 @ Ebuyer)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7850 1GB Video Card (£135.59 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Xigmatek ASGARD PRO (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case (£32.99 @
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply (£36.18 @ Ebuyer)
Optical Drive: Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer (£12.95 @ CCL Computers)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) (£69.68 @
Total: £451.77
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

This build will be around 60% faster (in games) than the one you've listed. It also uses a better case, faster hard drive, higher quality power supply and it's CPU is about 3% faster (had to point it out although it will make no significant difference).

I need to get the parts from Amazon UK as I live outside UK. They are the only website which ships to EU.

From Amazon the price adds up to 490 :/  It's out of my budget
