I am looking to upgrade ASAP

The only reason I am looking to upgrade it to play GuildWars2 at 60 FPS at 1920x1200 on high settings (doesn't need to be fully maxed but most settings near it.)

I usually shop at newegg.

I prefer Nvidia but I would be fine with an AMD card if the price is lower and will play the game like I need it.

I might overclock if it would be needed. I have no problem doing it but I don't run SLI.

Current GPU: EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition

Motherboard: EVGA E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

RAM: OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Also I was wondering if I should worry about my older CPU bottle-necking a new graphics card or not. Really don't want to need to upgrade anything else since it still runs great and does everything I need it to do.

Thanks for any help.

If you prefer Nvidia, the 660-Ti is your best bet. It's right at $300: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130809

As for the CPU: crank the clocks up to about 3.2GHz and you should be fine.

Thanks for the recommendations. Does anyone think any of the lower range cards would be able to do what I need for Guildwars2? I don't want to go to my max if I don't need to.

I will definitely keep the 7950 in mind, I wasn't even looking at it before but from all the stuff I have read it looks like it will be viable for a lot longer than the GTX 660ti.

would still max it

any of the cards listed would be a good upgrade. for that res and decent settings get at least 2gigs of vram on whatever you get. No need to over clock as suggested. I have 3 260's and what's holding you back is lack of vram. they were terrible in Crysis and fail miserably in newer games.
