Can i use 8-pin connector on 4-pin ATX 12v on my motherboard ?

hello guys
so i was building my new gaming pc when i noticed having 4-pin ATX 12v on my gigabyte Ga-Z68ma-d2h-b3 and i have 8-pin connector in my psu , can i use it on the 4-pin ATX ? or i must get a separate connector ? :??:

Hi - Yes, usually the 8pin can be separated into two four's, just
use the one.
