So, I currently have a BFG 9800GT Green Edition and a Gigabyte 5670 1GB at home. I'm wondering which will give better performance (I can/will OC as well). The 5670 seems to be alright, but I'm definitely in need of an upgrade, but I'm just going to hold off a tad longer, and thought, hey, maybe I can get a little better FPS with my 9800GT.

So any thoughts/opinions are welcome! :)

The 5670 is a tad better than a normal 9800gt while it will beat the eco hands down. Keep both cards and if you board has a second pci-e slot you can use both cards with the 5670 as the main card while the 9800gt eco as a dedicated physx card. So to say best of both worlds and all without needing pic-e power cables :)

wait, seriously!? That's crazy! But it would only be effective in games that actually use PhysX right? Also, would that not cause driver issues? Having both AMD and Nvidia?

Not too many games actually use Physx, but you can use a Physx card with an ATI main graphics card (heck nforce4max helped me when I had my 6950)

ya that's what I figured, so just keep using my 5670 for now? Cuz I'd rather not have both cards in use.

Sure, the 5670 should be a bit faster, but also use less power.
