You can handle any graphics card, but with a core 2 duo, nothing more than a single GTX560.

Upgrade your RAM, 1GB is horrible, get atleast 3.

i bought NVIDIA GT 610 2GB Graphic card.but not worker in my pc. when i do install graphic"s card drive then showing your hardware is not compatible.whic graphic card is compatible for my pc. pls. reply :-(

dont buy newer cards ..go for something older which would be compatible with your mobo.. i suggest atleast an hd5670 or gt440 for playing gta4. dont forget that gta4 really stresses the cpu a lot.. so your core 2 duo would be a problem too.. yeah and also that ram.. atleast add in another 2gb atleat.
yeah how much watts does your power supply deliver ? it very important. only if you have atleast 300 watts only then get the cards i recommended to you.. if less than 300 watts then get either hd5570 or gt220

Your CPU barely meets the minimum requirement. The minimum ram is 1.5GB. And GTA 4 runs horrible on good hardware don't expect much. Its also EXTREMELY boring

Are you getting the right driver?

Make sure you have the right driver for 64bit or 32bit.

Well that means your video card is not being detected. I would either take it out and put it back in or restart your computer. 1GB of RAM is also not going to run GTAIV.

And by the way, a 610 is definitely not going to run GTAIV
