Random shutdowns...

Hello,
ive been playing GTA:SA on my computer, but it randomly shuts down, i have the suspicion that it is an overheating problem but i cant do anything about it because the computer is an ASUS all in one, therefore it cant be opened.... how can i figure out if its something other than overheating?

Download HWMonitor and watch the temps while gaming. They should all stay under 80C, though in an AIO I can see them getting to 85C+.

Other possibility is the PSU.

Well, i have Coretemp and its usually at 80-100C

That is it then. 100C is about the trip point on thermal protection, so it'll be shutting down.

What does it have CPU/GPU wise?

Easiest way is to get CPU-Z, or go looking through Control Panel. It'll be in device manager.

Yup, those are both moderately high power parts for an AIO. You could try pulling it open and vacuuming all the fans. That should help drop the temperatures.

Really? There should be screws on the underside or something. Or is it a Warranty Void sticker?

Try vacuuming the vents at least.

well i opened it popped the cover off took screen out and there was the fan but it was inside of a metal box wich there was no way of opening...
PS: This computer is gonna be 3 yrs old in march
PSS: Is there anyway of cooling it without opening the case?

You could try at least getting all the dust out of any grills and holding the vacuum up to the intake of the fan. Just make sure the fan doesn't start to spin too fast (a little is OK).

The dust collected in the box it had to be opened and cleaned to fix the problems....

As I remember it had some locking mechanicm but it can be opened,
(but if u are unsure u may need profesional helps to open them)...

The other way is using long thin stick/cable and try to fish out the dust....
btw u will need to unplug the fan's cable for precaution... (reverse current) when u are vacuming or blowing air into it...
spinning fan because of the air could damage your mobo...
