First time building a gamin PC!! Need Opinion

Is this Gaming PC good for the price and will these all configure nicely? I have never built a gaming pc before. Do I have everything to make the gaming Pc?

CPU: i7-3700 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V 6Gbs Usb 3.0
RAM: RipJaws 8GB
Video Card: GTX 650 Ti 1GB
HD: Western Digital WD 1TB SATA 6GB
OS: Windows 8
OP Drive: LG Black 14xBD-R 2x BD-RE 16x DVD RSX DVD RAM
Power: Tx750 V2 750W ATX12v

Total: 1050$

  1. There isn't an i7-3700. You want the cheapest IB i5 you can get.

    Get the cheapest H77 or B75 based board you can if you aren't OCing, or doing SLI/CF.

    You want DDR3-1600, CL9, 1.5V, and preferably low profile.

    Get something way better than a 650Ti. I'd be looking at a 7870, 7950, or 670.

    Where are you (what country).
  2. im in the US. and would a i5 2500k do?

    Im not so computer savy can u explain what "low profile" means?

    IF you want to cf get the asrock extreme4 or msi z77 for $120. IF not get one someone somewhere said.
    EDIT low profile just means the heatsink isn't huge.
  4. I'd get the ASRock Z77 Extreme4. Newegg will give you 8GB free ram saving you ~$40.
