Why cant my router find wifi?

i have a Belkin g N150 router and it says looking for wifi network for hours

Do you mean the router status light is amber and blinking? That means the modem is not connected properly.

Or do you mean the WPS light is amber? That means the WPS enabled wifi device did not connect.
