Is this rig enough ?

Hello,
is this build enough to play the upcoming games on ultra (AC3,HITMAN ABSOLUTION,MOH: WF,I AM ALIVE,.......)
my rig:
xfx 6790 hd
core i3 2120
4 gb ram ddr3
dell monitor 18.5" (max res 1366x768)

by the way,i can play (metro 2033,bf3,crysis2,shogun2) on ultra (dx11) FPS +40.

I hate to break it to you (you asked), but I'm afraid that rig is not going to cut it in DX11/1080p/maxed out settings in the new games, at least not with a decent frame-rate.

Based on those specs (assuming the card is a 6790 and not a 6970 typo), the best I can imagine you getting is medium settings in 1080p at 40fps. You might have to drop the resolution down to 720p before being able to get into the highs/ultras.

The RAM is okay, but the processor and video card are kinda weak by today's standards.

to be fair, he did say 1366x768 resolution, which is an easy resolution to max.

yeah at that resolution hd6790 can max out any game there is with playable frame rates.. but if you upgrade to a 1080p monitor it would not cut it anymore..

The i3 seems like its bottlenecking but it's not, an i5 will help out a lot if would like an i5. as for graphics it should be fine but you would have to lower settings a small it to boost your framerate also throw it into 720p but then ur PC graphics will look more like shitty Xbox 360 graphics so really invest in upgrading these 2 things and you'll be up, running and kicking ass in 1080p games with decent framerate
