I was going to get an intel i5 660:

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Intel-Core-i5-660-3-33GHz-CPU-Fan-heatsink-/170928411555?pt=UK_Computing_CPUs_Processors&hash=item27cc2093a3#ht_500wt_949

Bu then I saw this:

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Intel-Core-i7-850-ES-2-66GHz-8MB-LGA-1156-Quad-Core-Processor-/271081582223?pt=UK_Computing_CPUs_Processors&hash=item3f1db8ae8f#ht_1368wt_699

I don't think I've ever seen an i7 processor this cheap. Is it too good to be true. The seller has very good feedback, and there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the product. Any info or suggestions please. Thanks in advance,
Dennis

From my research I have found some things:

The 850 was a prototype and uses the LGA1156 socket. and is rather power hungry.

It is also quite old. and it shouldn't be available to the public as it must be:
1) Leaked
2) Stolen

So it is up to you.

(Remember this is internet research so it can be wrong or incorrect, don't hold me accountable)
