large hard drives

Hi. I've been reading about these new 100GB drives, and I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not these new drives get their size detected properly by older (2-3 years old) motherboards. Thanks.

2-3 years old would put you at '98-99. I would say you probably have either a 32GB limitation if it's a '98, but if it's a '99 it's possible.

You might be able to get by the limit with utilities from the HDD maker.
