Computer turns on, but no display.

Hello,
I have just finshed building my computer and when I turn it on nothing displays on the monitor ! The case fans are running but theres no display. Also I noticed that when I turned it on the CPU fan would spin for a while then stop spin then spin again. I have tried to unplug the CPU fan and replug it back in and it still happens. Is it because of a faulty Mobo?

SPECS:
AMD A6-3650 2.6 Ghz
Gigabye A75M-UD2H Motherboard.
8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR 3 1600 Mhz

PSU enough wattage to handle booting your Rig ?

I have a Ultra LS 550w power supply I am pretty sure that is enough to handle my rig.

Make sure you install those motherboard stands before you lay the mboard in the case.

Your Ultra PSU is not a high, or even medium quality PSU.

Review this thread to check if you overlooked something simple:

I mean work through, not just read over it. We spent a lot of time on this. It should find most of the problems.

If that doesn't work, I have some more advanced troubleshooting suggestions.

I have installed all the stand off's and I did check the thread and I am pretty sure I did everything.

UPDATE: I got it to POST now ! It was because the CPU was not all the way in so my dad helped me and now I got it going to POST screen . Gonna install Windows 7 today ! ty
