Anyone know the voltage and polarity of this adaptor?

It's $60.00 at B&H and that's BS of a very high order.

Cheers,
Alan.

I have one, and on the back it says:
Output 6V dc 2A (input 100v - 240v 50/60hz)
The plug is center positive (<->-C-<+> )

2 amps! that's quite a lot (from a battery point of view). The same as
the adaptor for the RD175 though. Shame Minolta doesn't have spare
power cables for that one. And I haven't figured out how the adapter
is wired up yet. On the adapter side are 3 pins and on the camera
side 2. So 2 are probably connected to make the adapter switch from
battery charging to power supply.
Oh well.. I might run into someone one day who'll let me check the
wiring.

But some seem to use generic psu's on their Dimage 7's. (ranging from
5V 2A to even 7,2V 2A) But personally I wouldn't dare do that. It's
not a walkman, but a cpu that needs to be powered.

Anyway, hope this helps.

Cheers,

Mathieu

P.S. accessoiries and parts are allways ridiculously overpriced.
Payed about $60 for a battery cap for my RD175 last year. Asked the
man twice if he really got the right amount... my word...

Yes, thanks. Looks like it is a XFMR/DC-DC converter, hence the higher than
expected price.

Cheers,
Alan
