Asus amd hd 7770 dc vs asus gtx 560

Hi guys please help me i am going to buy a graphic card. I am having a tough time choosing between asus amd 7770 dc and asus nvidia gtx 560(non ti), which one should i choose for better performance.

  2. I would take the GTX 560. I've been using one for months, and it's a great card for the price.
  3. The GTX560 offers better performance, but it also sucks more juice. Make sure your PSU is up to the job.
    Also, as good as their mobos are, Asus is the only video card brand I've ever had fail on me within hours or days of first use. Any others that failed did so after years. I prefer XFX, HIS, or MSI for graphics cards (yet I wouldn't risk a MSI mobo, especially if I planned to OC).

    Will a seasonic SII 520w would be enough to pair it with core i5 2500. (i am not going to overclock)

    Yeah it should be fine. I run a Core 2 Quad q8400 along with it on a 550w psu, peak power consumption at the wall is about 260w.

    Should be a bit less less with the core i5.
