Laptop streaming really slow

Hello,

I recently sold my desktop and have noticed that on my newer and supposedly faster laptop that I am having huge performance issues. I am basically unable to stream anything on my laptop as it is constantly buffering. I thought it might be a wifi problem so I plugged my laptop in and am still havnig the same performance issue. My speeds for online gaming are fine, but whenever I try to stream of surf the web the computer seems to be slow. Any ideas what I could do?

I did that an on the desktop up stairs which is not as good as my laptop I was getting almsot 2 mbps on my laptop I am getting the same.

I jsut ran it again and nam getting 0.5 mbps I don't understand why it would change and why it would be different from one computer to another on the same wired connection?

Does anyone have any ideas, would I be best to just fresh install everything see if that fixes it?
