Aftermarket Front Power Button

recently im unable to power my rig from my case power button,
i have check/test many things and im really sure my Front Power button is faulty
currently i turn on my rig by the onboard power button(mobo(msi z77mpower))

So,
is there any aftermarket power button out there?
i have seen one in a build log but i dont really remember it

*its an old case, no warranty
*changing to a new case is not an option right now

I personnaly use spared case switch for me but i know for a thing than any switch will work (it simply need a contact, no power or anything)

I can suggest to cut the wiring and use the little connector side on your motherboard and hook that up with a switch or even just leave the 2 wires exposed and touch them when you want to switch on

You could also plug the reset switch in the power slot of your motherboard (like i said a switch is a switch and you can use a reset switch to power on your rig)

lol really? i dont really sure about cutting any wire but if i connect the reset swith(the positive/negative connector) to the power connector on the mobo(+/-) it will work?

yeah the reset and the power switch work the same so if you plug the reset switch on the power header, it'll work

i will give it a try later,
lets say if it fail,
does this switch things as easy as simply switch things learn in primary school(i can guarantee we r from dif country)
like adding a metal connector to a positive and negative wire/terminal for a short time?

i fix this, by using the reset button as the power button, thanks~
