HDMI, DP, DVI and VGA are merely different ways of getting signals from the GPU to the display but the back-end that feeds the TMDS and DAC outputs is for all intents and purposes identical across all standards. Unless the GPU manufacturer fudges something up, there is no reason for there to be any performance difference between output choices.

Hi guys,

I have a friend who was wondering if there was any performance issues surrounding each of the standards? The only thing I know is that VGA is analog and doesn't provide as good of a signal.

However, what about HDMI vs DVI? Is there a performance difference here?

Thanks in advance!
