APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 2- 3 weeks BUDGET: $200

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming mostly, plan on playing a variety of games such as WoW, skyrim, cod, and Crysis to name a few

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI radeon HD 4550 and a 350 watt PSU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: intel core 2 quad q9400 2.66 Gz and 6 gigs ddr2 ram

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com

PARTS PREFERENCES: none really, preferably with eyefinity capability

OVERCLOCKING: probably after I do a little research

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I was already looking at a Corsair CX600 600 watt PSU and either a HD 6770 or 6750 just needed to know if this would be a good pick for my cpu, and if not if there are any better recomendations

More about : good gpu core quad

For 1920x1080 you could get away with a bit more GPU power than a 6770. If your budget can stretch it, a 7850 @ ~$200 is a nice deal - I would second that recommendation.

You are also correct that you will need a new power supply. The CX600 is a fine budget choice.

sorry , I meant my budget was 200 including the PSU, for the GPU I've got about 140, also are you sure something like a 7850 wouldn't bottleneck?
