Hello, I was wondering what types of high end video cards are compatible with my ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0

Any with PCI x16. You can run both AMD crossfire and Nvidia SLI. With SLI you need matching cards. With CF there is a chart.

no gpu should have an issue mounting in almost every motherboard that has a pci-e slot as long as there isnt a card below it blocking it but no heatsink should block it nor should the ram slots, u may not be able to open ram slots after the card is in on some boards but u should be fine, built a pc with the R1 sabertooth and a 6870 had no issues with blocks. So yes basically every pci-e gpu with fit, sli/crossfire, or gtx titan, pick one and throw it in there lol
