I'm looking to replace my Canon DSLRs in the new year (sooner is the price
is right) and I came across the Kodak 14 megapixel camera which accepts
Canon lenses. How smart are kodak? Make a camera and let others bother about
lenses! Anyway, they're $3500 at B&H. There is also a $1000 rebate on offer
too so the price is well under a Canon 1D mark II. On the surface they look
like something I should explore. Has anybody got any experience with these
cameras? Shutterbug articles speak highly of them.

Are you taking about the DCS Pro SLR/c?
The body is made by Sigma (and based on the SD10), so as an SD9 owner
you'll feel at home with the controls. A number of people don't like
anything made by Sigma, but I've noticed that you are not among them.
