Can a 5400k Oc'ed handle Crossfire?

I wonder if the 5400k A6 handle two 7770s in Crossfire mode?

I have the 5400k clocked at 4ghz

If the cpu is bottle necking the gpus then what is a good cpu (dual core under $80) that could handle the gpus

I am a high school student so i only work in the summer so the budget is expandable, but i would like it to be within reasonable time frame (1-2 years work)

Come back when you actually have the money to spend, the market will change alot in 2 years.

Nothing in that price range will perform better than the 5400k, and rather not to discourage you and say to give it up, I'd say not to try a xfire in this case, but consider perhaps a better single gpu, this will save you from too much worry about bottleneck and heat and power consumption.
