I chose the parts for my computer and I had someone put them all together and one reason I opted to do that was because I thought you need to setup the bios - something I assumed I couldn't do. Now I am wondering, well is there much to it?
As Deemo13 stated, the process is pretty simple. Newer motherboards do most of the BIOS work for you and automatically select the better/best setting. Some MBs require you to manually set the hard drive (ACHI or IDE), but for the most part it's not complicated.
