What can I expect to change in the bios when building?

I chose the parts for my computer and I had someone put them all together and one reason I opted to do that was because I thought you need to setup the bios - something I assumed I couldn't do. Now I am wondering, well is there much to it?

Thoughts?

EDIT: For a general home use computer

More about what expect change bios building
  1. The BIOS is pretty easy to navigate.
  2. As Deemo13 stated, the process is pretty simple. Newer motherboards do most of the BIOS work for you and automatically select the better/best setting. Some MBs require you to manually set the hard drive (ACHI or IDE), but for the most part it's not complicated.
