I bought this a couple weeks ago... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I increased the RAM so its at 4x4GB... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
put in this SSD... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-148-...
Also took a HDD from an older Desktop and put that in as well.
popped this bad boy in.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007U5MGBE/ref=oh_deta...
just bought this and putting it in.... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I am worried I'm not gonna have enough power. Thoughts?
I used eXtreme Power Supply Calculator Lite, and it said I was okay actually, but I'm not an expert on PSU related stuff.

If I need more, is this enough... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

...or is this necessary.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Thanks guys.

sorry but shopping sites are being blocked here lol.

but, most of the time, 1 good 550w is enough. get a 600 if you want some breathing room. no sli/xfire of course. get a corsair or seasonic or something similar

sorry i cannot view your links. hth

This really doesn't help Cons29. I get your point, and I would tend to agree, but I am looking for more specific information. Thanks though for the input.

1 - do you need to upgrade? not really, even with the AMD 7750 (plus your other additions) you won't break 200w total system power while gaming

2- the rosewill green series are OK budget units (still better then your generic unit) and the 430w would offer you plenty of power for even more power hungry upgrades. personally i would go with the corsair CX430, a slightly better unit at the same price but like i said the rosewill 430 is OK and capable.

So the upgrade ISN'T really necessary with all upgrades? am I understanding you correctly?

Would you do it? Will be doing some video editing and gaming, nothing crazy.

Would you do anything else before this upgrade? Any other upgrade after?

Thanks!

upgrading to a quality PSU is always a good investment especially if you plan to keep the PC for a while

even though you just got a card, something like the AMD 7770 after your PSU upgrade if you want better gaming performance
