I have always wanted to have a gaming PC but never had the spare funds to spend. I recently got approved for a preferred account with Newegg.com for $4000. I get 0% interest for 12 months on anything over $500. I want to limit my cost to as low as possible while still maintaining the best performance for the price. I am thinking a budget of around $1,500 just for the system hardware. I also have to buy a monitor/keyboard/OS and whatever other peripherals. I have a small office and little children so I won't have a lot of space for a big multi-screen setup. I don't believe I will be playing on a resolution any higher than 1080p for the foreseeable future. I looked at the GPU 2012 benchmark results on here, but it's all Greek to me so I really have no idea what card would meet my needs but not be a waste of money for things I won't be doing like multi-displays or whatever graphic intensive activities other than gaming.
