Hi, guys :bounce:

My System:
Asrock 970 Extreme4 Mainboard
Radeon HD 6870 Graphics
4GB Corsair Ram
Windows 7 64bit

I want to use 2 LCD Monitors with my PC. Both have VGA and DVI Ports.
I alredy use one Monitor over a VGA-Adapter on the first slot of the Radeon HD.
Now i want to plug in the second Monitor with a DVI-Cable and on the DVI-Slot of the Monitor.
When i plug in the second Monitor my main Monitor goes black and the second one doesn't get any signal.

I have searched in the Control-Center of the Radeon-HD but found nothing tha seemed helpful to me.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your 6870 card have more than one digital output (i.e. DVI, HDMI) and how many of each? If it does then just get a second digital video cable and don't even use the VGA cable. I have mine hooked up using a HDMI to DVI-D on the first monitor and a DVI-D to DVI-D on the second monitor. It works much better and completely avoids windows quirky behavior associated with the VGA output.
