Best bang for buck: 7870 or 7950?

Sorry if this has been posted before but I need some advice. Thanks to AMD's price cut, I can now afford to upgrade my GPU. My choices are a 7870 for $260, and a 7950 for $320. Which card gives the best bang for buck? I'm hoping to keep this new card for two years.

I'll agree with Schnitter here. If you're planning on keeping it for the next couple of years, you might as well spend the extra couple bucks to pick up the better product. $60 more over twenty four months comes out to $2.50 a month, not bad for anywhere from a 5-20% performance increase over the 7870. The BIOS update that AMD has releasead should speed it up even more in order for it to compete with the GTX 660 TI and 670.

Good point. An extra $60 isn't much for two years, and with new consoles coming next year, I will probably need the extra power from the 7950. Thanks to everyone for replying to this post! :)
