Hey guys,
I'm planning on building my own pc for the first time. I am mainly going to use the pc for music production, as well as the usual stuff - watching movies, surfing the internet etc.
I tend to use a lot of VSTs which is quite heavy on the cpu load, so it needs to be pretty fast.
What I have gathered from other threads, reviews etc. is that a prioritised list when building a pc for music production would look something like this:
1. CPU
2. RAM
3. HDD
4. Rest

I plan on spending between 1000-2500$ - I am however situated in Denmark, where things tend to be more expensive, so maybe more smt like 800-2000$ for you guys.

I am not very technical, so I would really like to hear your opinions on the hardware that I have so far considered:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z77

Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz

RAM: 2x Corsair DDR3 PC 1600 8GB kit CL9

HDD: wd caviar black WD1002FAEX 1TB SATA6 64MB 7200 rpm

SSD: Mushkin Chronos deluxe SSD 120/240Gb - I do not yet know if 240GB is really necessary?

Graphic: ASUS HD7750-1GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 - This I am also not very sure of - for music production I do not need it - but maybe for watching movies? Also I will be using 2 monitors (The FSM-270YG 27" LED 2560x1440 WQHD S-IPS listed below and my old 19" TFT screen) - does this affect the choice of graphics card? Maybe even the choice of mobo?)

Tower: Antec Performance P280 Super Mid Tower

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Monitor: FSM-270YG 27" LED 2560x1440 WQHD S-IPS DVI-Dual HD Computer Monitor

PSU: Corsair TX650W TX650M 80+ Bronze

ODD: Asus DRW-24B5ST Black

OS: Windows 7 64bit

I also ordered an external audio interface a couple of days ago:
External Audio Interface: Komplete Audio 6 (Native Instruments' upgrade of Audio Kontrol 1)

I am using Ableton live 8, if that makes a difference to anyone.
As I said, I am not very technical, so maybe these parts don't even fit together? In other words, ANY replies are welcome :)

Thanks in advance - Kroer :)
