CPU Heatsink Fan

Hey guys,

So Ive been rendering video, and my CPU goes to 75-85% for the majority of it, the temperatures on SpeedFan for my cores read at around 65-72 celcius during the the final saving of the video.

Is this a dangerous temperature?

Ive been thinking of trying to clean the dust off the face of the heatsink but ive never taken it apart, I have an old i7 860 with some CoolerMaster fan on top of it. Is it possible to remove JUST the fan and not the heatsink? It is attached it seems by a set of screws. I dont want to get into all that thermal paste and such just yet.

If the screw do not go into the motherboard you should be able to simply remove the fan and blow things out with canned duster or pressurized air

Those temps seem fine to me.
