Intel celeron M processor 520 is upgradable or not

Hello,
I use toshiba satellite A135-S4656 laptop with intel celeron M processor 520. I want to know whether it is upgradable to dual core or not?

While I can't answer with a yes or no answer; I can give you a little information. The processor you have uses socket M and the laptop is using a board with the 943GML chipset. While I can't find any information on this chipset based on the next closest the 945GM the board may support early models of the Intel® Core™ Duo and Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

The real problem is that all of the processors that can be supported on this board have been discontinued for a long time now. So even if you can replace the processor you will have an extremely hard time finding a supported processor in the first place. So at this point it maybe best that you look into getting a new laptop.
