Hello there,

I have been reading different things about i5 ivy bridge temps, and are now asking you.

My cpu are idling at around 30-35 degrees celcius and playing wow gets it to around 55 degress.

Running intel burn test at very high 10 times max it at 66 degrees.

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 412S as cooler.

Are the temps normal or should I try to refit the cooler or?

Also there is a difference in temp on the different cores, where core 0 and 2 are running aprox. 5 degrees cooler than the 1 and 3, are this normal?

Thanks in advance

The 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors are able to reach higher temperatures without issues. The temperatures that you will see during IBT or Prime95 are higher than you will see under any normal case. So you can relax and know that you are doing good with your temperatues.
