I 2nd knightdog, go with a good quality brand - altho no review from a trusted review site,
I found a thread on another forum where the Alpine 700w couldn't deliver 460w

Thanks you both, So in essence Alpine 700 Watts isn't what they say? how do I know if the PSU watt displayed on is what it delivers?

Thanks

Hi - best way is to find a review from jonnyguru, hardware secrets, hardocp, hardware canucks,
of the psu you are considering.

2nd best - Quality PSU brands that have proven to be reliable. These would include
Seasonic, XFX, PC Power & Cooling, Antec, most Corsair's, most Enermax,
Silverstone, Rosewill Capstone/Fortress series, some OCZ. There are some others, you
can always check here if you are not sure about a brand or model.

With that graphics card, you don't need much of a power supply. A 500w Corsair or 520w seasonic would be more than enough and still give you some headroom should you decide on getting a real graphics card for gaming.
