Which Cat5e cable to get?

Hello,

Will be running cable from modem directly into my desktop, instead of going the wireless route. My question is, which cat5e do I need to get? My modem is wireless (not sure of the model #, but is NETGEAR brand provided by time warner cable. I plan to purchase a 30 foot long cable as my PC will not be in the same room as my modem.

Thinking of getting this one:

Most Hardware stores carry similar - I've used these from Lowes -- figure at $2.50 per 50 pack they are pretty cheap !

Yeah but for a single 50' cable that is a bit expensive to purchase !

Lol yeah def overkill. Personally I run all my Cat5 off a cable drum so cables are exact length. Helps i bought the 100m drum for £20 though
