Hey I get a weird grid texture overlay across my screen, a little like the guide lines when using drawing tools.
This texture is faint but most noticeable in high contrast scenes, pictures, videos and moving pictures/rendering in particular. (allot of people may not even notice it)
It almost looks like the image on the screen is being processed in blocks then slotted together to make the picture (I'm using a DVI-HDMI cable)
I tried to get a screenshot but it wasn't possible
My computer is an Acer SA-90 (from around 2007)
My specs are
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 @2.66Ghz 4mb cache (Original CPU "Pentium E2160")
Sapphire HD 6450 1gb DDR3 (Original GPU "ATI HD 2400 pro")... I think my cata version is 11.12 but i'm downloading cata 12.8 now...
Not sure what the motherboard is but it has got a 3rd party chipset which supports 65nm core 2 duo and pentium, (it's using a PCI-E 1.1 bus, the board says it supports DX9 "not sure if DX versions are bound by the Mb?"... luckily we've been bound to DX 9 by the console market hahaha)
3GB DDR2 @333mhz (667)
I think that's all the specs that really matter? right? lol
This computer is mostly used as a media center, but it is now also a backup gaming PC since my motherboard just died lol. It runs Mass Effect 3 fine at 1280x720 on low... apart from minor dips.
Thanks... I'm not going to install the new driver just yet, I feel sick and it's 1:30am lol.
Any comments are welcome.... I look forward to reading Thanks again!
