Dell Xps 8500 Power Supply Removal

Hi guys im trying to upgrade my xps 8500's psu and video card and im coming across a problem trying to remove the old power supply

After reading the manual for the xps 8500 it said to remove the stock psu you had to press down on two clamps that held the psu to the chassis.

The problem it seems to me is that for one of these clamps, there is something under it blocking it from being pressed down. This is causing the psu to not want to come out.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I would have to manuver around this? i got the first clamp pressed down so part of it will wiggle, but it is definitely still attatched to the chassis.

Take off the other side panel and see if you can tell what is the obstruction. Once you remove the 4 mtg screws, you can probably release the clamps better by wiggling the PSU a bit.
