Formatting Boot Drive

Hello

I am planning to do a clean re-install of windows 7 and I wanna do a comlpete format of all my hard drives. My question is how do I do a complete format of the hard drive that contains my windows 7 info on it? Can I do it through the BIOS?

Usually, when you install Windows, you can delete the partition and create a new one if you do a custom install. If you do this, it should install cleanly, but I have run into MBR problems before (just one or twice, but I think that was with Windows XP).
