AMD Radeon HD 7750 VS nVidia GeForce GT 640

I am going to upgrade my video card but I don't know which video card is better.
Here is a comparison:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. if there is a video card that is better than both of them for under 110$ that would be great

  1. the 7750 is by far a superior card. I would go with that...right now there is a good deal on a gtx 550ti which is faster than the 7750 and cheaper atm

or here is a 7770 for a little over budget that is better than a 550ti

  2. But keep in mind that the 7750 doesn't need a 6/8 pin power connector. So if you have some Dell or HP ETC. computer you shouldn't have a power connector. I have a Dell. I am buying a new PC and putting a 7750 in this Dell just because of the power. What resolution are you gaming at? The 640 is at the same price but in all aspect worse except heat. And if you get a 7750.. Don't get the Sapphire quiet edition. It can overheat too easily to be 100% safe. Better safe than a burnt 110$ eh? :D
  3. ys the hd7750 is the best option .. i have the sapphire hd7750 but it is not quiet edition. its a standard edition. doesnt go above 60 degrees even under load. so get the fanned version. gt640 is very inferior to 7750 because it uses ddr3 memory instead of gddr5 memory which 7750 uses
