  1. That 95W Phenom II X4 will be fine with either board.
    MSI: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/760GM-P23--FX-.html#/?div=CPUSupport
    AsRock: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/960GMU3S3%20FX/?cat=CPU
Both boards are similar; same chip set, same PCI-e slots, but the Asrock has a couple SATA 3 headers where the MSI doesn't. For that reason, I would opt for the Asrock incase you ever want to add a SSD.
  2. I have had great experience with MSI, Asus, Foxconn, Evga, gygabyte Mainboards I never had an asRock so I think I will give it a try.
  3. The only complaint I have with Asrock, is that their boards are usually thin. I had one so thin it was warped because it sat in the box wrong during shipping. You almost feel like you might snap it when you hold it. But if you take care, no problem.
  4. Ouch !! now that makes me nervous how well will it hold up in performance

I've built several rigs for others with Asrock boards. They are all still running nicely. No complaints. The boards get good reviews online in spite of their thinness.
  6. ok thank you i'm thinking now
