Does Asus Bios Flashback work?

Hi Guys, I am going to buy the AMD FX 8350 with Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0. I need to update the BIOS of the motherboard before using the CPU but I do not have any other AMD CPU. Will the Asus Bios Flashback work? Has Anyone used it?

Also do you suggest I get the I5 3570K with Asrock Z77 Pro 3? And I would Xfire in the future.

The whole purpose of Asus flashback is for you to be able to flash the BIOS with minimal hardware e.g. without the CPU.

So I don't see why it wouldn't work, watch the tutorial on it.

Yeah I Know it and I have seen the videos. I was a bit skeptic because many reported that it never worked.
