i can push the card past 900 but the temps start climbing too much(67C+)under load :non:
a better cooler would prolly help cause its just a plain reference card :)
and the i3 has turned out to be better than i expected :bounce:

we'll see when i get home in about 4 hrs what it CAN do

goodluck...have you messed with the fan settings for benchmarking? you could turn your fan to 100% just for trying to oc the furthest when benchmarking

67°C under load is nothing. You shouldn't worry unless it reaches 85°C during gaming :D

nice man thats a good improvement on what you had before...what is your shader clock at? if you look at the link I posted in the first post you can see that you pretty much hit the highest clocks that are on there for your card not bad

thx

its running stable @

915/1830/2100

final score P4125

only problem my dell w3707d keeps me capped @ 60fps

temps are right at 60C after 1or2 hrs on crysis2

and if im not mistaken that is actually the gpu clock on that chart

(gpu is 1/2shader, right?)

yea its a little confusing I think its core and shader clocks on there...you can turn that 60fps cap off by turing vsync off then you can have as many fps as your gpu can render

wont tearing be a problem with this TV?

and btw what would be best for the fan settings?

i use nvidia inspector but i have to turn the fan from 40 to 70 after every reboot

msi afterburner is a good program for setting fan profiles you can save them so you do not have to reset them after every restart...yea tearing will be an issue no matter what monitor you have you just gotta weigh the pros and cons for the higher fps

well my OCing has hit a snag(i think).

i needed to stress test it, so i grabbed furmark

5000 frames into the burn-in test it throttled down from 930 to 405 after hitting 83C :o

860 seems to hold steady @ 76C for 15 minutes(same burn-in)

after all is said and done i'll probably lower it back down to 800, where its been since i got it

but it was interesting to see how far i could push this card :bounce:

thx for ur help drums101

Ouch:

Guess I've got some work to do.

EDIT: I can't really OC mine though, because I've got an Antec Sonata, and it doesnt have stellar airflow or anything.
