You literally had the same build I had before I updated mine LMAO Besides the HDD and memory brand. Are you me from the past?
Here's mine:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($49.98 @ NCIX US)
Memory: GeIL Pristine 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($32.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($194.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Raidmax Atlas ATX-295WB ATX Mid Tower Case ($52.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS90 DVD/CD Writer ($15.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $541.91

You can change anything on mine besides the processor, motherboard, RAM, and graphics card since they're essential for gaming.

Uhm I'm pretty sure both of ours can handle high-end games, just not on ultra-max settings. Mine (which I'm reccomending for you) can probably handle games better than yours since the graphics card is much better. I sacrificed a little processor power to so I could make the graphics card a bit better while staying around my budget.

Note that a graphics card is more important than a processor when it comes to gaming. Just make sure you have at least a decent processor. What games do you plan to play anyways, like Crysis and Syrim or WoW and Guild Wars 2?

That's like 760 bucks, it's better for sure but it passes the budget. Idk why but I assumed his budget was 500$ or so too.
Edit: Oh wait I forgot mine didn't add the OS... QQ
