I am a new poster on TomsHardware, and i was just wondering if the community could help me with something?
I currently have a home-built system (My 1st one) its specs are as follows:
MoBo: FOXCONN A76ML-K 3.0 AMD 760G (SOCKET AM3) MOTHERBOARD
CPU: AMD QUAD CORE PHENOM II X4 850
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHZ
GPU: ASUS AMD RADEON HD 6770 (Not the passive cooled one)
PSU: NOVATECH 450W Gaming PSU
(Im sure you dont need the rest of my build, such as HDD's , Disk Drives, Case ect...)
I pretty much just threw this system together for Skyrim just before it came out, as I had been playing PC games on a laptop for ages, but I had always wanted a PC for gaming.
I was planning on buying this: (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX...) to throw in there, but i need to know a few things before I go out and spend £250 on a GPU that may not work in my system.
Could someone please let me know if there would be a better card I could get for cheaper, what PSU would be the best and cheapest for the card i suggested, and if i would be wasting money on a 3GB GPU when i only run 1 screen.
I pretty much just need a card that will run most games at 60FPS+ for the next year or two
