So here is whats in my rig. I've got an AMD FX 8350 CPU, an Asus Sabertooth 990FXA R2.0 mobo and 8G of RAM G.SKill , and an Nvidia EVGA GTX 660 Ti sc GPU. I have a 530W raidmax PSU. Do I need more???
Is it this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152028
First of no active pfc (little red volt selector switch a give away) no 80+ cert for efficiency, lack of internal protection to protect your other hardware in case of failure, low amp rating on the +12 volts for the size and so on.
The lack of internal protection is the biggest there since if the PSU fails it can kill some of the other components.
530watt is enough but Raidmax is not known for quality so I suggest getting another one from Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, Enermax, XFX.... just to name few.
