Hey whats up? :hello:  Its my 16th Birthday in November and i think its time to get myself a Fairly High Budget Computer :o  ; recently Ive fallen in love with computers and i really wanna build the perfect rig for my uses and money . I will be Using it for Video Editing, Hardcore Gaming, Listening to Music, Programming/Game Development, YouTube Commentating and Gameplay, General Use (Internet, Homework) etc. :wahoo:
As some of you may know Ive posted a few Discussions but my Computer has changed since then so im going to list my components below, if you wish to use Part Picker there will be a link for that to. Keep in mind that im thinking about overclocking the CPU to at least 4Ghz .
Thanks allot guys, Feedback is much Appreciated! :bounce:

You'll need at least 850w, hun.
Though personally, I would go 950.

EDIT: Nvm, was looking at 690 SLI.

That mobo is way overpriced. Get a: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga... Unless you need thunderbolt (which I doubt. I don't expect USB to lose dominance ever. Thunderbolt is a gimmick).

If you want to later put a second 690 in you'll need major amounts of power. I think one of these should be enough, and prices rise very steeply from there: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/pc-power--cooling-power...

If you only intend to run one 690 I'd look at a pair of 670s or 7970s instead. Get one of these: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750x...

What res do you plan to run?

^a 2-way 7970 GHz would be more beneficial, and would outperform the 690.

for gaming,3570k = 3770k.so get 3570k and save yourself some money.
690 for a single monitor? that's waste.a 670 is enough to max out any game at 1080p.
for psu,a quality 750w is enough to run 670 SLi and overclocks.i would suggest this one-

one more thing,get a 120Hz monitor if possible ;)

i hardly doubt a 16 yrs old kid can take full advantage of quad core plus hyperthreading.
as I said earlier,a 3570k is very capable cpu will not lag on any of the tasks he mentioned.

Very nice build as for the powersupply GeForce GTX 690 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 750 Watt power supply unit. If you are going to overclock the GPU or processor, then recommend you purchase something with some more stamina. This would be a good choice http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/overclockerscouk/xfx-power-s...

I wouldn't bother with the i7 you are clearly not video editing at a pro level in a production envirinment so get an i5 and use the left over cash for better things

Stupid UK site won't let me edit. To explain the above

The 2 670 in SLi are going to perform close to a 690 for £100 less. They are going to max out anything you toss at them.

16GB RAM for handling large video tasks

The green drive is for storage, the standard drive to record on too and the SSD will let you load your gamers up uber fast

670 SLi is waste unless you get a 3 monitor setup.
16GB is overkill unless you are going to render 3D videos on ultra high resolutions plus you will need a professional gpu for that.for daily basic video/image editing,8GB is enough. But $70-$80 is a good deal for 16GB ram.
