My Hp a1510in model pc ( pentium 4 .3.06 Ghz processor, Integrated graphics card,2GB RAM ) CRT monitor got failed.I am planning to buy a new LED monitor ( Min 21 inch , 1960*1080 resolution,HDMI,VGA ports) .I want to connect my CPU to the LED monitor thru VGA.Is there any problem in doing so? I don't know whether my CPU supports the resolution ? Any suitable monitor pl suggest.

cpu doesnt support video output its the integrated graphics that does, they motherboard being it has integrated graphics means it should at least have a vga connection. Not sure on how well a 3ghz pentium 4 and integrated graphics from that generation will work on a 1080p monitor for video playback and youtube, but shouldnt have an issue.

Thanks for ur reply. My graphics card is Integrated ATI Radeon Xpress200 Hyper memory graphics. I connected my CPU with my friend's 24 inch LCD TV thru VGA it works. clarity some what lower than original CRT monitor .I think some settings have to be done for more clarity.Any suggestions.
