Motherboard- P8Z77-V PRO
CPU- i7 3770k
RAM- 2x8Kingston HyperX 12800/1600Mhz
Power- Coolermaster GX650W, 750W LED 80+ Bronze
Hard disk- Seagate 1TB 7200RPM SATA3
Graphic card- ASUS HD7770 2GB GDDR5
DVD writer- ASUS 24X SATA DVDRW

I need advice. I'm using this comp as a gaming comp. Hoping this'll last me awhile.

Get a cheaper mobo - Newegg will toss in 8GB free RAM with a Z77 Extreme4 in the US. Kingston RAM is 1.65V and voids CPU warranty anyway. You don't need 16GB for a gaming build.

Get a 3570K instead; it performs almost the same when gaming.

Get a PSU from Antec, Corsair, Enermax, newer OCZ, PCP&C, newer Rosewill, Seasonic, or XFX. 650W is good for up to 7870 SLI, though I'd look at a 750W.

Get a much better GPU. I vote at least a 7870.

If all that matters is gaming then dropping down to the i5 cpu (still use the K chip if you want to overclock) and spending the difference on a better GPU would game better.

Also, I think a better PSU brand would be a good idea.

A 7870 in my country is about the same as a gtx660 DCII OC 2GB
Won't that be a better choice?

As for the mobo, i'm kind of stuck between the gigabyte Z77X-UD3H and the asus P8Z77-V PRO. Cause the shop I'm gonna buy my parts from was known to ship faulty Asrock stuff.

I've alr got a deal for the 3770k, about 50 bucks more than the 3570k.

I'll change the psu to a corsair TX 750M S.MOD

Do u have any advice on how many coOling fans I should need, and if I'm getting a dual monitor system, will 8gb RAM show any lag?

The 7870 has kind of exceeded my budget, is there any other alternatives?

Your case should come with all the fans you need.

If you're gaming the i7 will have no impact compared to any Ivy i5, including the cheaper locked ones like the 3450.

Both the GA-Z77X-UD3H and P8Z77-V PRO are overpriced and more than you need.
